The challenge
HRWC had a new executive director and a larger staff in watershed science, education and policy. It wanted to reach communities beyond its Ann Arbor base and make its commitment to diversity and inclusion concrete.

What we did
We set core values from staff and board interviews, and mapped HRWC's future landscape with a disruptor analysis and input from staff, board and partners. From there we built a 20-year vision, a 5-year vision, and a roadmap with strategies, milestones and measures.
